Financial Report to 30 June 2026
Our commitment to radical transparency
In accordance with our desire to improve communications and our commitment to radical transparency, we are publishing our financial report for the 6 months ended 30th June 2026, together with a plain English summary.
Over the first half of 2026, RAFA Bognor Regis saw its total income fall by 19.5% to £94,853, largely driven by significant drops in core bar sales and lotto revenue compared to 2025.
While June generated a £2,028 monthly profit and running costs were trimmed overall, higher relative expenses across the six months pushed the club into a net loss of £3,193 (compared to a £1,280 profit last year).
Crucially, while the paper balance sheet showed £29,195 in cash at the end of June, that figure does not reflect upcoming liabilities: once an outstanding building bill (£3,500 + VAT) and statutory commitments like VAT are settled—plus accounting for £800 in grant funding strictly earmarked for refurbishment—our usable cash balance dropped below £25,000 as of yesterday.
